I have been a stay at home mom for 11 years now. It’s hard to believe, because I don’t feel like I ever made a decision to stay home. I just couldn’t go back to work with my new baby, and now here I am 4 kids and 11 years later. I am grateful every day for the time that I have to raise the kids and be there for them. Granted, half the time is spent on cleaning, but it’s still worth it.
Here are some of the things I don’t miss:
2. Flourescent Lights
3. Work Clothes
4. Work Shoes
5. The Work
6. Small Talk
7. The Schedule
8. The Waiting. For lunch. For the end of the day. For the weekend.
10. The Commute
Any other moms out there that don’t miss these things?
